ECONOMIC JUSTICE AND REFORM
Black Americans are facing the greatest economic crisis in the history of the country. We have lost close to 50% of all Black owned small businesses, only have 19 Black-owned banks, and our inner cities are rife with financially motivated crimes.
In the wealthiest country on the planet, Black Americans still lack access to capital to build community wealth. Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue are focused on economic justice reform for Black Americans, which would finally provide needed access to capital to build community wealth in our communities. Legislation that Senators Loeffler and Perdue support will create opportunities for more Black-owned banks, Black-owned equity firms, and provide the critical federal stimulus funds to help black businesses during this pandemic crisis. The long-term effects of this plan will significantly lower the crime rates in our inner cities.
Their opponents have fought efforts to pass much needed stimulus funding because it would not include tax cuts for billionaires in high tax states. Senators Loeffler and Perdue deserve reelection, not just because they are fighting for common sense policies that will benefit all Americans, but especially because they are fighting for economic justice reform for Black Americans!
